Reinforced blade steel RWL4 :
All our steels are made from high performance Swedish Sandvick steel. The RWL4 is only of interest for very intense use which requires maximum resistance, few customers will opt for this reinforced blade. (Less than 0.5% of customers). Hardness 60/61 HRC.
RWL4 steel is to date the most efficient steel (obtained from powder metallurgy) in Europe. The longevity of the cut is greater, the sharpening remains the same.

If you want one of the 2 options, you must choose one or the other. The mechanism can only take one.
You have to keep the flexibility of the knife spring for the safety catch, which in this case also prevents having a corkscrew.

The traditional blade is smooth, Swedish 14C28 Sandwick steel, stainless. The best of the day.
The guilloche blade is chiseled and carved by hand, on the upper edge of the blade. A unique and very meticulous job. Beautiful architecture. Swedish 14C28 Sandvick steel
The damask blade is made of multiple layers of steel and carbon, hot manipulated many times. Each drawing is thus unique because the representation of the “grooves” is always different.
